Now that Photobucket has changed dramatically and I can't figure out how to group my pictures in Flikr, I'm looking for an EASY program in which I can upload and display my pictures. Any suggestions?

I belong to "photobucket" too,I just changed the new program back to the older style I liked...........You can have a choice between the new and old.....

The problem I have with PB (in addition to the change) is I have 28 pix I want to have someone look at to help me ID some slabs and I don't want to clog down the forum by putting them in one post. I thought that if I could find a program that I could have people link to that they would be able to do that without interfering with the forum.

I don't like the new photobucket interface either. But IMO it is still the best photo hosting site for use with online forums. (There may be better for web commerce systems).
you can create a photobucket folder and put the 28 pics in there and then post a link to the folder. I think pb will also make a slideshow for you too.
You can also get thumbnail links instead of full size, and you could post those on the forum - but I would also give the link to the whole folder in case someone wants to help with more than a few.

I love Photobucket (most of the time) because it is so easy to use. I also clicked back to the old program immediately upon having the new version thrust upon me. Glad they made that option so easy to do! I filled up my first album (max 2500 photos) about a year ago and am up to almost 300 on my new album. Bob

Go back to the old PB program, it's a matter of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". But you have the choice of making your album or sub album private or public. If you make it public, all you need to do is post the link to your album and anybody can look at it. I've got you beat Bob, I'm on my 3rd album of cabs!!!!

Hi, sheltie. At first, I used Imageshack, and use the uploader tool at tinypic.com now. It's part of Photobucket and you can sign up for a free account. I don't have an account with tinypic, but enjoy using the uploader.
I believe you can provide a link to the site of so members can see closeup shots of your pictures of materials you would like to have identified instead of posting a pic on the forum.
