That little depression in the bottom of the bowls gets clogged with hard grit. Is it OK to fill it with GE Silicone II or will that affect the action adversely?
Thanks.

Yep. That's what I filled mine with. It's from manufacturing and serves no purpose. Just make sure it's good and clean, then fill it up and let it cure. I've seen no wear on the silicone in over a year of constant tumbling.

Can small (it it fits thru the opening) flat slabs be polished in a Lot-O?

You can do small slabs in any rock vibe. You need at least 70% small ceramic filler or lots of small non flat rocks in the mix as a grit carrier and a means of keeping the slabs apart.

Silicone seems to never wear from tumbling.Sticking to pvc or polyethylene may be a challenge
