Today, I almost spent the day cabbing. Tomorrow I WILL spend the day cabbing. 'Spose to be 65!!!! Can not wait!!! In the meantime, I finished this in stainless steel today. I don't like working with it, but I have a bunch to use and the steel has been real popular with the guys.

killer piece... very stunning!!
What wrong, if I may ask, that you do not like working with steel wire?? I'm new to all this and was looking at steel wire as a cheaper way to start wrapping as opposed to nickel or silver.

Thanks Randy Dad - Stainless is really hard. It's harder than silver half hard. I don't even like to use my good cutters on it. Each wrap with it, takes me twice the time and my hands hurt afterwards. I wouldn't recommend it to a newbie. It's challenging. But, being a guy, maybe your hands can handle it better. Got something for ya, dude. I remembered to take this. The back isn't as neat as it usually is because of the steel, but you asked for it. The stone is in there rock solid because of the turn inwards that the wire takes at the top. It ain't going anywhere.

It makes so much more sense to me when I see a wrap and then I see the back side.. I actually understand more of what goes into the wrap that way!!!! Thank You!!! Thank You!!! Thank You!!! Great piece, Tela! Larvakite is a favorite and the clean look could be great for Dude or Dudette! How are your hands after working the stainless? Actually, that's what I learned on.... I've gotten spoiled working with the softer wires now! lol!
