There is some good quality Mara Mamba out there. Usually the the fibers are much longer.

You did that one up real pretty Donnie! Very scenic cab. Did you have trouble with fibers falling out? Every time I try to work with it it makes me want to pull out what little hair I have left....Mel

Yup, it was those pesky fibers driving me bananas. There was a section that was softer that kept under cutting, whereas the other side was pretty hard! Thanks though, it was the scenic parts of the rock that drew me to it. I still have some more yo cut but is has a lot more ironstone in it.

Donne, that's a beauty! Glad you stuck with it and I know how tough it can be to work!!!! Definitely worth the effort, though!
