Hello,
I've spent most of my rocking, walking rivers. My favorite river is the Nehalem in NW Oregon searching for Carnelian which my wife loves. Than my life would forever change after reading and seeing pictures of Morrisonite Jasper and other types of picture Jasper's. I had no previous thoughts about the beauty inside. The few Carnelians I found would just go into an aquarium (Except the 10 pounder I recently found).
I love these forums, what a ton of knowledge for a new rocker like myself. I have recently acquired an old 10" tile saw which I have added a diamond blade and have been cutting small slabs. Now I just need to figure out a poor man’s way to polish em up. Dremel?
Again, thank you all so much for your willingness to share your knowledge,

Welcome Riverwalker!
Would love to see pics of the 10 lb carnelian.
You can polish small slabs in a tumbler (especially a vibratory one).
