Wow....that price seems insanely high for a thunderegg. I'm just curious if anyone has seen this kind of price (or higher) for a thunderegg?
It is a pretty cool looking rock....

I saw that earlier in the week. I recall thinking it looked like a fish.
You have avid t-egg collectors, and avid collectors of animal shapes in stones. Also, ORCA has dedicated buyers that often pay top dollar. Put all that together, and ....

I understand that. It takes two bidders to raise the bid. The one with zero feedback keeps bidding and increasing the 1000 feedback bidder's amount. Maybe I have a dim view of human nature.

yes, i am not disagreeing about the role of zero-fb biddr. but we presume some who had bought and sold 1000 transactions had 1) knowledge of value to him or on after marke2, 2) too much money.
I would never pay that much for that rock.
