I'm working with a 6" flat lap that I got from a member here. The lap is wonderful. What I'm looking for are some good 6" diamond laps. When I bought the flat lap it came with 1 diamond lap and several other stick on laps. The stick on's were OK, but the diamond lap is the best. I'm looking to get feed back on what would be some good 6" diamond flat laps to purchase. I've tried the lopacki diamond and they seem OK, but not in the same league as the 180 mesh that came with my flat lap.
Any and all suggestions welcome. Please give your reasons why you're recommending a certain brand. Thank you

I am sure there are better quality discs on the market but for the price I have been real happy with kingsley north inexpensive laps. I have been using a 180,260,600 and 1200 8" discs for about 9 months and have made over 100 cabs and my discs are still in pretty good shape. These are not peel and stick. www.kingsleynorth.com/skshop/product.php?id=94349&catID=867Chuck

Ameritool, Kingsley, Covington, High Tech Diamond have laps from Reentel (who bought High Tech last year). I carry them too. They are plated in China but the steel disc is machined in Japan and the laps are rated as facet grade laps. They are a good value for the money.
