Current game (#4) starts on page 13. First three answers: 1. Koroit Boulder Opal 2. Wampidy Pink Agate 3. Rhodochrosite
I have to work this week and I'm cranky about it, so let's have some games of 20 questions. (In my work I can check back to the internet frequently luckily or I might not survive the end-of-year rush we're having.)
So I'll host a game (or a bunch, we'll see how it goes) of 20 questions. Here are the "rules": No rules other than, "yes or no questions only".
The winner gets a sfrb of Lavic Jasper to tumble or cut small cabs.
=======================================
Ok, Game #1, starting with an easy one. It's a type of rock and the name has 3 words in it. You have to get all three words (although everybody commonly uses all three words to describe it). Go!

Let me know if I can ask more questions. Let's try to change you from Grumpy to Happy!!! Maybe sing your favorite Christmas carol.

Since you live in SoCal you may not know the answer to this one, but its not for the contest anyway.
What do Snowmen eat for breakfast?
Snowflakes
Thought you might need some flaky Christmas humor today.

Yeah, I used to work retail, and we got so burned out around the 20th. The worst was when my store got broke into at 5 am Christmas morning, and I had to meet the police there to take care of it.
Is one of the three words a color?

Ugh. Retail is tough. I did that for 2 weeks once, and that was ENUF. What a pain, dealing with the police on xmas morning! Good time to break into a store though I guess, if that's what one wants to do.
4. Nope, no reference to a color in the name.

Does part of the name reflect its origin? Like Clear Creek Jade?

6. Hi Pat. Yes! Part of the name does in fact refer to where it is found.
