Ah, sorry. Yes, more than 7 letters. Not sure how to determine gemstone as opposed to mineral, but it doesn't lend itself to faceting, if that helps make a distinction?

Sorry, my bookmark stopped working. Not Citrine, not moonstone (although I'm sort of obsessed with moonstone lately). It can be (sort of multicolored, variegated, although mostly people use just one color of it) Not sardonyx It can be banded It's not normally multip colored (or normally thought of as multi colored - people throw out the part that's not the main color) Not fluorite No inclusions but it has a lot of little vugs sometimes Nope, not Larimar. Moh is a good deal less than 7. I'd say it's a popular cabbing stone - that's its main use judging by a google images search. Although through that same search, I just learned that it apparently comes in a couple of crystalline forms too - we usually use the . . .uh . . . non-crystalline form.
