I've been quiet for a few months to get a few things sorted out. Was still reading a lot of the fantastic posts here, but remained on the sidelines to set my head straight and concentrate on whats important. Nuff said: Did a few things since August: Some Disdero Agate with Polkadot backing Some Polkadot Phsylomelaine Spider (one piece) freestanding on its feet (and small connection with the moth) Indonesian Chrysocolla And what I consider the best to date "Save" made of Inca Agate December has been quiet and did mostly Fire Agates, except the one finished today Australian Chert (mock-up with intended pearl-string) Till here for now, wishing you all Happy Holidays and a Prosperous, Healthy New Year, Kurt

What a feast to see your work again! I have always admired your creativity--indeed, you were the primary motivater to my recent "going to carve" purchases. One of these days . . .

Well, Kurt, you know I love everything you make, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE that angel wrapped in the wings!! That is beyond creative and a GREAT save for some very fractured rock!
Glad to see you posting here again too:).

That polka dot Siamese fighting fish is truly remarkable.
Also, I have a special place in my heart for both tarantulas and psilomelane. Many years ago I made enough money selling tarantulas during a period of unemployment that I was able to eat and make rent payments. They helped me bridge the gap so to speak. Gotta love that one too!
Overall terrific work!

Those are all great Kurt! My favorite is the Disdero Indian on the Polkadot. Fantastic detail for small (?) carvings.

My favorite is the Disdero Indian on the Polkadot. Fantastic detail for small (?) carvings. Yeah, and it looks like either Canadian custom or Postal service thinks so too. This one was send to Todd (Warrens cousin (disderoguy)) and never made it through the Christmas-mail. Still hoping that it will eventually turn up either in Todds or my mailbox.
