Tony, both are beautiful but the opal mosaic is superb! Amber must be very happy with it.

Nice work Tony! I haven't done any mosaics before. Do you use tinted epoxy or is it clear with the black doublet backing showing through? It's AWESOME looking as well as the intarsia!!!

Krystee on that on I just used CA glue so the black you see is the backing stone. The CA isn't working real well so I think I'll try epoxy next.

The opal is stellar! and the birthstone as it own charm think of the electron transfer going on in those stones a great symbol to the person who gets it what were the birthstone months? Ed

Really beautiful pieces! I like the richness in the color and design of the first one but the mosaic is really cool too!
