We went to see one of our favorite dealers and good freind today. His name is Terry Hiatt and he has started a rock shop in Seaside Oregon. We went mainly to see his new digs and purchase an old Highland park belt sanders, only picked up a couple slabs and a chunk of moss agate rough. His shop: He recently got some really nice Biggs slabs, I gots to go back with more cash. Interesting semi=tumbled slabs we found Any ID's? Shrinkwood maybe or?? This one we think may be dendritic native silver on calcite: Lee

 Thanks for the Biggs fix, Lee! Pretty cool piece of dendritic silver on calcite and like your dark shot of it.

Good looking shop, and that dendritic silver is stunning. Biggs is a real eye catcher, too.

Nice rock shop! Of course I have never seen a rock shop before so they all look nice to me! Probably best I don't ever step foot in one, esp with any money in hand! Bad enough there's ebay, although I have definitely gotten more discriminating in the past year. But rows of slabs!!!!!!!!!! OMG! Thanks for the pictures!!!!!

I talked to Terry, the owner, yesterday on the phone for quite a while. He seems like a really nice guy. I got 2 limbcasts from him and a bruneau piece.
I mentioned that I seen the pics on this website and he said he remembers when rockoonz was there taking pics. He couldnt believe someone would come in and take pics and put them up for others to see. He said it was very nice of you(rockoonz) to do that and he sounded very humbled over it when i talked to him about it over the phone. He emailed me pics of his bruneau jasper, some biggs and deschutes. Hes got some really nice stuff for sale that he got to hand select directly from the lady that has the bruneau claim. I purchased one of them from him. I emailed him the link to this topic with the pics that rockoonz put up. Also he said hes got a bunch of big limbcasts that he collected himself 6" up to around 18". He said he would email me his stock. The only limbcast that I have are small around 2-3 inches. Ive always wanted a big limbcast but have had trouble finding one.
For some reason I really like those Oregon limbcasts and thanks to rockoonz, I think I found a great dealer of them.
