Hello Rock and wire people! Well this is the second one of these I've made. The last one only lasted 2 days in the store, much to my amazement. 12,18,20,22ga. Copper,Sodalite, Amethyst,Agate beads, on a smooth river rock. Thanks so much for Looking...................................Hub Attachments:

I had to think about this one. I love the 'primitive-ness' of this. I would like it better if the beads were not so shiny.

Your wrapping is very creative you just cant see the stone. It's what you are trying to relate.

Looks like you have everything covered..... or covered with everything ;D The shiny beads are cool, maybe the rock needs to be shiny as well, but it's cool nonetheless.

Thanks for your thoughts you artists! My thinking on these is to have a dull nothing rock, with the contrast of shinny wire, beads, and chip beads! And a lot of weird wire wrapping in different gauges. The main rock is un touched just how I found it on the river, smoothed by nature. Just something fun I like to !!...............................Hub

I like it, Hub! Definitely has a tribal look, but also really Steampunk, Gothy and primitive all at the same time. Cool!

I like it! The contrast, you're right, with a rough rock, and wrapped like a power amulet with wire and gemstone beads.

Hub, you've gotten some great feedback. I can only add that my first impression was one of a totem pole. The beads zig zigging up the piece give it great visual height and it has so much going on each step- it's like a totem pole, which is very cool!
