Beautiful wrap as always Randy!!!
But.... what's up with that Obsidian? Plain ol'? Is it an Apache tear or something? You are killing me!!!!! OB is my favorite material but I cringe when I see no flash!
BTW Randy.... after a very long time of slabbing ob I finally found a fire ribbon!!!!! If I ever get the courage to cab it..... I will probably send it to you to wrap for me..... that is.... if you can wrap something other than plain ol' obsidian, LOL!!! ;D ;D ;D
JK but serious on sending it to you!

Perfect! It may seem plain to you, but that's probably going to be the piece she will wear continuously. Black goes with everything and a simple, elegant all black pendant is a very difficult thing to find!!! (I've tried!) Might want to consider making more of those!!! :-)

Krystee, this obsidian is solid black, as dark and black as black can get, no flash. It's some cool stuff! ;D I do have some stuff with lots of flash, I cabbed and wrapped two last week that had all sorts of cool stuff going on inside. I'll take pics of them today and post.

I love black stones with silver wire! I love this piece! I had a really boring piece of obsid a few years ago that I did in copper and patinaed black, that looked real cool, too. You just can't go wrong with a black stone. Black jade is nice, too.
