Got to spend a few hours on the last day of the year making some cabs. The two opal wood cabs are from member Mattaya, he was kind enough to share this material and these were my first crack at it so its shows great potential. This was my favorite opal wood This is from the same rock but looks way different A nice lace agate Kona Dolomite thanks for looking, Chuck

Awesome work on some pretty tough material to work with imo. It seems so brittle and you really have to find the good hard stuff to get the best out of it. Still havn't made my way though this material to work on anything in the way of cabs but I did manage to get a pretty good shine on tumbling. Thanks for sharing Chuck, Matt

Boy that's how to do it! Great pieces all!!! That first is so bizarre! It almost looks like a coral! Can't wait to see what the new year brings!!!
