I have had it with trying to wash my rocks off with bottles of water and taking them to the car wash in the winter. So I just ordered a heated garden hose from www.rittenhouse.ca I don,t know if any one else has tried these heated hose,s or not. I will re post and let everyone know how it works out.

I understand why you did it, but you sure paid too much. Hindsight being 20/20, I would've recommended that you checked with RVers who face the same problem with their water lines and tanks freezing and how they prevent this problem. Heating tapes is one solution. But the bottom line is that you will be solving your problem, albeit more costly than it needed to have been.

The heated tape was $33.00 at Home Depot and was only good for 15ft . My shed is 60 ft away from the house. And I think you have to replace the tape every three years , and I was not sure I could just tape it to my garden hose.
