Was just wondering if anyone re-uses their Cerium oxide for more than one final polish, I know lots of people re-use Aluminium Oxide so can the same be done with Cerium Oxide.

I do. I rinse off the stones in as little water as possible, then let it settle out for a few days. Then I siphon off the water and let it dry out the rest of the way. It is surprising how much remains.

I've been using the same polish for about 1 1/2 years now, with no loss of finish quality. Have a dedicated barrel, and add about 1/4 of a normal starting amount each run to make up for washing loss. Our polish cycle comes up usually every 11 weeks.

I reuse my cerium as well. I let it settle out in my rinse bowl , pour off most of the water then pour whats left into a container keeping it in suspension. When its time for polish I pour off the water until some white flows. I add 8 tablespoons to my three pound barrels (directions call for 6) reasoning that some water is being measured out. Results are good.
