Incredible jcinpc.I have very little experience at this.Like 2 months.And have had a great time.Your stuff is fine.It amazes me how this stuff changes color.I see why you have been in to this for such a long time.Looking forward to seeing more.

thanks, I havent cabbed in 2 years, full blown rock shop inthe back and havent had time to play......I need to get back to doing this again. going on a rock run soon so maybe I will find something that intrigues me...I got on a boulder opal kick for awhile then ran through that rock and stopped...

Jc, I still have the coral I got from you. Time for me to play with it again. I sort of gave up on it because it is so doggone hard, I mean it's one of the hardest materials I have worked with so far! However, now that I have a 10" lapidary saw & a decent blade, I need to tackle it again. Wonderful in the tumbler, since the tumble does all the work, but slow. I love, love that yellow!!!!!!!!!

Now jc is the coral man Stan.That coral in the south zone has crazy color.jc said it's the clay it is in.It has strong color changes when heated.

thank you to all the replies, I do love my rock and love finding it..have sold TONS of it over the years and finding heads like this pinhead is what it is all about, fresh from the clay
