Amazing-many thanks for sharing,-does Suwanee mean something,in native american ,perhaps? Please excuse the ignorance of a Brit,but thanks all the same,was listening to some Ry Cooder,and drifted away,could almost imagine myself there. In my dreams,thanks again,John.

Thanks for the link lparker.Archeologicaly,the Suwanee is a rare spot.It was a small creek during the ice age.Florida was 3 times bigger.They know because well established camps out in the ocean and on the river bottom.Lots of the ocean was tied up frozen in the ice caps.These were the paleo ice age guys.The dalton,clovis and fluted points are in abnormally high percentage in this river.These dudes went up against mastadons

No,he was the only person i saw on the river in over 100 miles.He is a corrections officer.His wife was going thru metaphase and chose to stay away from her and on the river for a week or two.
