Hello there, I am fairly new to the world of "rocks". Been picking up pretty rocks all my life but went on a camping trip out west this summer, got as far as Corpus Christy Tx n injured foot so had to come home. I am gonna try again this spring. I am from North Carolina. Found some nice chert or jasper in Tx and started buying rock tumblers and arbors. Now making some fair turquoise cabs but want to get into jaspers and agates. Mostly picture jaspers, did a few agate cabs and my old fashioned silicone carbide equipment is very slow with that hard stuff. Anyway howdy and look forward to reading threads, as a guest I have read and benefitted from yalls advice on here.

Hey James we can do it when I am healed up. I got some stuff left hefe thats not got a lot of color and is very cloudy n full of lines n solid fractures. I send you a medium box for a few pieces of the pretty coral rough, heck I send you a large flat rate box. Dont know what it will look like, there is probably a little smoky in it. You wanna trade I trade n that will get my floor opened back.up in the barn office/rock shop. It might be really nice to tumble, my best cabs came out, of the cloudy white stuff from Hogg. It doesnt show scratched as bad. I have a lot of trouble with scratches in the hard quartz. Pm me ur address if you want some n how much you want.
