I met Bob on he Facebook swap page a few weeks back. He had pics of this blue and green stuff that looked like malachite and azurite. I asked him about trading and he asked what else I'd like. The only thing I recognized was some amethyst sage I saw so I asked about that. We agreed on a mfrb, and I sent him a bunch of Wyoming stuff I hounded including some of the stromatolite I really like, and a few other goodies I've bought or bartered for here. He got my box and and let me know one was on the way back. Well Saturday I got his. He sent me a LARGE flat rate box back packed to the gills with specimens and end cuts. Here goes: Cool unknown plumey end cut: Amethyst sage slabs and end cuts: Unknown chunk, and very pretty Calcite specimen Specimen chunk with quartz pocket Large, heavy jasper river rock Amethyst chunk and agate chunk Bizarre, cool specimen Jasper chunk, looks like it may be Gary green or similar Quartz chunk with what I assume is pyrite Some chrysocolla-ish stuff in some kind of matrix Agate specimen with druzy pocket Pretty orbicular poppy slab Fluorite (I think) slabs Some of the pretty azurite stuff that initially caught my eye Agate chunk with some orbicular stuff going on Unknown end cut, and looks a little like howlite Dendritic jasper end cut Looks like wonder stone or similar rhyolite Agate end cut Cool agate or chalcedony specimen. It has a slightly botryoidal exterior and makes me think of a piece of antler Cool jasper end cut Man, thank you thank you Bob, this is awesome!

Looks like Bob finally managed to winnow out his holdings. ;D Seriously though, he is very generous with his trades and has some really neat stuff.
My intro to him was in Burns, OR last year when a group of us who had never met were getting together to go hounding. I had gotten there a couple days earlier and had collected a bunch of obsidian and rhyolite and had them spread outside my motorhome. I heard a knock on my door and there was this stranger standing there. He said, "what are you going to do with all this leaverite?" And that was my formal intro to Bob. I should also add that he sent me a LFRB earlier in the year when he learned that I was a brand new hounder. He wanted me to see different types of rocks that could be found while doing this wonderful hobby. Not to mention that he has a great sense of humor.

Wow, thanks again Bob! You didn't need to label anything but it is cool to know what things are. I will try to go back and match your labels to the pics.
I didn't label any of the stuff I sent you so if you have any questions just let me know!
