Hey so I am both new to lapidary n this site so here is a pic of my fav turquoise cabs so far. Lot of rare stuff here, old siversmith liked me n sold me six pounds of 50-60s stuff as a surprize box, 2 lbs slabs n 4 lbs rock chunks. I have lots left !!!! Rockhounds aee great people. One dream catcher is Morenci with pyrite, one dreamcatcher is green Royston, the pendant with glue on bail is Kingman wit waterweb n both clear and white quartz. The first row is waterweb Kingman. The second row has two Morenci with pyrite, and a ribbon Roys[img src="[/img] "]ton n anotger Royston. The third row is cirst a Royston with both green n blue, the others are green Royston. The bottom row is a fantastic cab with jet blak matrix n quartz and I have no idea. There is also a Bisbee blue with lavender matrix, but best of all is bottom right is a Crow Springs with the classic nutmeg n black matrix with olive green turquoise, its a full quarter inch thick with no backing, its the old Crow Springs not the modern stuff, I am told this is the rare of the rare. The rest are backed with thin devcon. My tablet camera is not good but boy do they shine!!!! Thrre is supposed to be other rarer than rare in my rocks like hidden treasure mine and enchantment etc. I cant find good pics to use to id those, plus its easier to ID after slabbing. Let me know what yall think? Thanks, Bill

you either need to attach picture files or have a picture hosting site like photobucket and the rest is simple
when you modify your post you can put them in at time using the links from photobucket

Thanks Diane but I dont get it, my tablet is retarded n I am worse. What button do I hit to attach pics. Would prefer to skip the photobucket thing, this is complicated enough with using another site too! My tablet loads slow pics. Thnks, Bill

I don't know how your tablet renders the page, but you should have a box under where you put the title. Next to the box is a button. Click the button to find the picture on your computer. When you find it, click it. You can only do one picture- or at least that's all I could figure out how to do.

in any of your posts there is a quote modify delete at the upper right hand corner of it
if you click modify it will take you to an edit page where you can attach or add stuff

Definitely keep at it. I remember the first time I tried to post something on this forum - had to have my buddy walk me through it. I now use photobucket to attach pics with no problems at all.

There's a post stickied in teh top of one of these forums, not sure which one, probably rock tumbling, that goes through it in more detail I think? Anyway, yeah, it's annoying at first but you'll get it.

Orrum, You need to upload the pictures first to an Intranet Picture Hosting site. Photobucket is one, there are many,
Than you copy the address and drop it into your post in RTH
PM me if you need specific instructions
