Oooh..neat colors!!! But aren't whole fossil clam shells worth a lot more than chips, even colorful chips??

Talk about colors. You cheated and used a nuclear reactor Helen:>That red and blue-too cool. That mustard is weird. It was from a huge coral head.I am cooking an oyster to see what it will do .Lots of broken ones for tumbling, cooking etc

The mustard was a section of a giganticus coral head.It was 5 feet log and 2 feet round. All the minerals settled to one side. The rest was pulpy.I removed about a 100 pounds of it.I had tested a little piece from a prior trip.It was ugly lite brown color. The 2 toner was a pretty lite bright yellow.A chip of it can be seen on Suwanne river trip in location X 3 category. The purpleish chip was real pretty butterscotch and was as pretty in original as it is after.I will cook some of those oysters, some were broken and of butterscotck agate then tumble. Thanks for looking

about 5 years ago I found some heads just in one small area that was orange color but when I cooked it( around 500) out came the blue spots in it. The knappers loved that .I did manage to keep some for myself I found a bunch of oysters this weekend too
