Funny thing about the brekian... it is a design I did a tute for, which I haven't done in a long time. I had to go back and follow my own tute for it. LOL! Well, this is a variation on the tute, anyway. It looks like the stone would fall out, but it's real secure. All 20g round wire. The brekian is soft copper the noreena is about half hard, twisted soft.

Love the look (stone and overall ) of the Noreena.
Interesting wrap you have come up with for the Brekian!

Very cool wraps for very cool stones!!! I like how you caught the corners on the first one...so it looks to be floating but isn't. Very cool! That Noreena is gorgeous!!! Perfect piece!!!

Lot to like in both. There is patina on the wire?... or am I seeing things?

Thanks I'm real happy with both of these. Yes, Daniel, both have a patina. Patinaed copper photographs beautifully and has such a warm glow about it.

How did you shine the noreena. I have tried for a year, friends have tried, talked with chap from Australia I bought from and no one had any suggestions on shinning. I can bring it to velveet but not water shine, yet the slab I bought had a beautiful shine.

Thanks On the noreena-- some polish better than others. I spend a little more time on the last wheels and spend way more time than usual on the 50,000- the outside wheel. I wouldn't call it a water shine, but it is better than velvet. Some don't don't shine as well.
