Really Shotgunman, you crippled me by breaking 2 ribs BRLOL breaking ribs laughing.....I asked for that one.You stepped up to the mound eh?Check out the results, next post will be what they do when they are grown. For a minute I thought you missed my post. Then I get this..... Jim, I too am rotlflmaool, literally, well, except for the floor part. I am not on the floor, but I am laughing my ass off - out loud. How often do you have to change the pot saucer out? I am sure it fills with puppy 'P' at least daily, maybe twice. <wide eyed smile>

Can you take some time off to help me take care of them Dora? They only make little messes, every 3.64 minutes.Huury up puppies and grow up so the clients will come pick them up! The adults do play for keeps.Got 3 girls. The clients bring their giant males over. The little girls wear em out.The smallest female can open field tackle males 40 pounds her size. You can set a mean pit bull out in that field and in 2 minutes he will be hiding under the first vehicle it can find. They will roll and body tackle anything on open ground. The visiting Whippet is the only dog i ever see getting the best of them. The ridgebacks think they are gonna run down that whippet(of course,we can out run anything). He is out running them whilst looking back at them w/big smile. The ridges come back w/12 inch tongues hanging out of mouth-wore out. Thanks for noticing.

I meant to ask, is there more than one variety of Ridgeback? A buddy of mine had a couple I used to play with and they were longer haired and appeared to be much heavier bodied than the ones you've pictured. His were the best climbers I've ever seen. They would climb a chain link fence and balance of the top rail to come say howdy. Never knew a dog could do that *L*.....Mel

They are highly variable Mel.The breed has a loose breed standard. These are finer and smaller. The males bred here were huge though. The dogs in Africa have longer hair. The ones on the west coast tend to be heavy bodied. The fence trick is strange behavior for this dog. They are typically cautious, especially when baying dangerous animals-use your head and not your body type mentality.

Very cute puppies, bet they outgrow that pot soon if they haven't already. Those girls playing is cute too. Bet they will have a time of it when the pups get grown up enough to take them on.
