As many of you know—
I frequent a Mexican food restaurant called, ‘don Jose’
It is by far the best small family owned
Mexican restaurant in Phoenix.
Over 30 years and still running strong.
Now these folks who run this show know me well.
I’m always showing off my cabs
and have even bartered for meals.
The owner really like the rocks and if he wasn’t so busy running the restaurant, I think he’d be out hounding. About a year ago I gave the owner’s wife and waitress (Alison) one of my early grooved wrapped turquoise pendants .
I haven’t been to ‘don Jose’ in nearly 3 months
due to some recent difficulties. Anathema!
Usually its an every other Saturday lunch routine.
Tonight I stopped in for evening dinner.
The place was wham jam packed!
I don’t like the evening crowd cause usually I’m alone
I didn’t get Alison for my waitress.
She was way too busy on the other side.
I ordered my usual—green burro red enchilada style,
side of rice, for anyone who’s keeping tabs---
and proceeded to feast.
I kept seeing Alison walking about.
I noticed she was wearing a cab
over her ‘don Jose’ tided dyed tee shirt.
Those are really cool.
I couldn’t make the cab out -but could tell it was tear shape and...
is that a groove wrap? I was intrigued.
I’ve got competition. Ha Ha
Anyway the dinner was par excellent! As I was settling up the bill
Alison came by to say ‘hi’ and pointed out the cab. By golly!!
It was the one I made!
That made a fine day and good dinner that much more great!
Thanks for reading.

wearing one of your rock art creations?
