OK, I need to order some diamond powder, and can get at a really good price of 60¢ per carat plus S&H if I order a bunch. So, Does anyone else need any that would be interested in our making a bulk purchase? Thanks, Phil

Ok gang, I need to have an idea on how many carats of each you want so I can see if I can meet the minimum's.... just the grit size alone doesn't help. <grin> The price won't change from 60¢ per carat whether you order 20 carats or 200.

OK, Scott just told me it's even cheaper on Amazon.... $2 per gram, or 40¢ per carat. So never mind! Thanks! Phil

Try Johnson Brothers at jbfc.com. I bought very good quality 100 carats for 30 cents per carat. They also do Resurfacing of Diamond Wheels.

the ebay dude at $0.20-$0.30 per carat plus free shipping is cheaper. Quality? diamond is diamond? No?

Quality? diamond is diamond? No? Sounds like a good price. As far as quality, the consistency of the grit size would be the big factor. If it is contaminated by pieces of a larger grit than stated (example: if 14K mesh also contained some particles that were 3K), you'd get scratches that might spoil the polish. Not saying that is the case here, just that there can be differences in quality.

Figures that some cheap Chinese company would jump onboard to try getting some free advertising. Go away lauryn. The Hunan in your email address gives you away.

I've been buying from Yuri on eBay too. I have no problem & the price is $0.28 per ct. I've bought from JadeCarver.com & paid more. I couldn't tell any difference.
I re-diamond the 8" belts on my expandos. I've done 275/325 & 600 grit several times in the past 3 years.
It's probably all from China at these prices.
