You will need a larger box very soon the way they are growing.

I had no idea you could ship dogs in a flat rate mailer. Makes sense, tho'. They fit and will get there fast for a great cost too!!

I've been without computer or television for over a week while out in Quartzsite, so missed this earlier. What type of puppies are they? Jean

Hi, Jean! Glad you're back! I think James' pups are Rhodesian Ridgebacks. They sure have grown a Lot since they were last pictured in the pot. ROFL, Shotgunner!!

Thanks, Jan! It's good to be home after 9 days in a travel trailer with husband and two dogs. Spent most of the day doing load after load of laundry, lol! I just came across James' other post about the ridgebacks. (I'm trying to catch up!) I used to own a dog that was half Ridgeback, and half Rottweiller. Her daddy was the Rotty, and he climbed a chain link fence to have a conjugal visit with the momma. She had a full ridge, and I named her Timka. That's Swahili for "ruffled fur or feathers." Unfortunately, when she was two years old, she started having seizures. Turned out, she had a congenital problem with her liver, where it didn't grow enough to do its job. Ended up putting her to sleep. She was a great dog, stong and loyal. Spunky, Timka and Shadow out at Glamis, CA. All three are gone now. Beautiful dogs, James. You've got your work cut out for you!

James, I'd love a couple of them! But we've got two dogs right now, a 7 year old (Lucy "rockpickerdog" in the group shot Diane posted of the Brenda rock hunt) and the almost 15 year old with chronic renal failure who won't be around for much longer. But husband says after both of these are gone, we will be dogless for awhile. It is hard to take a couple of medium sized dogs with you when traveling. I haven't been without at least one dog for 37 years, it'll be hard (and probably a blessing, too!) Jean
