does anywone have a formula to make your own diamond paste for final polishing? or is there a better homemade formula. or is it better to mix so many carats of diamond powder with water in a spritzer bottle?

The simple solution would be Vaseline. Having said that, I have used a lot of waterproof axle grease in the past, and would think this to be just about ideal. If you have ever had any of this on you, then, you know how tenaciously it sticks to your body...and any thing else it get on. You do want the diamond to stay stuck to whatever you apply it to. Water will not do this. Woody

I would try to load as much as a dab of grease would hold, and still stick to the leather. I bought 5 carot syringes for our leather belts, and now with two or so years use I have used about one carot of each. I do use a lot of the food grade silicone spray to extend the diamond life, and that seems to be working well. The grease used in the commercial pastes is, I believe a silicone grease, which would make sense to use a silicone spray to extend it. Woody
