I just recieved a box full of rocks from an old retired rockhounder here in Oregon..In the box was a huge amount of thunder eggs.. Question,is there a right way and a wrong way to cut thunder eggs?

there is .. iam pretty sure but not a 100% sure maybe like 90% lol that you should follow the bands to get an ocean lookin scenic view if one exists in the egg especially from oregon .. i remember reading that somewhere ..
