Hi all, I just joined this forum to learn about rock tumbling. I have tons of scrap in my shop from making stone knives. You can see my site at www.flintstoneandbonecreations.com I am just learning to navigate this site, but will post pics. of my work soon. Can anyone give me pointers on rock tumbling my scrap? Stan

Wow! Some serious looking knives. Love how you mix the stones and bones. Ken

Thats a cool site Stan....You do some good work....As far as tumbling your scraps, If you have a tumbler they have good info in the tumbling section on how to go about it....If you want to do it faster you might want to invest in a vibe tumbler, it cuts the time to a week or so versus a month or more....Tumbler choice would be the first thing...Oh and welcome to the board.....John

Welcome Stan! Your knife work is awesome! I like your website too.
Its kinda funny- I started out tumbling and then switched to knapping a couple of years ago. I still do a barrel or two now and then- I need to do something with all the points and blades I still break and ruin (still learning)!?! I am sure you will find all the info you need here- lots of awesome people here with tons of kindness to help you.

Thanks for your comment dtcmor. I will be at the north Georgia knap in in April. Try to come! We can knap a point together. Stan
