We have another week if we want to stay in Q and are looking for places to hound within 100 miles. We've done the Brenda jasper thing and went to Bouse for green banded rhyolite. We were thinking about 4th of July Peak but that is over 120 miles and we don't want to leave our dogs alone that long (and no, we won't take them with us).
Does anyone have any other ideas? I think probably the Hauser Geode site is a possibility, but we're looking for a good four or five more, especially for agates and jasper. Oh, Burro Creek is also too far. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Ask Tony or Scott, about the agate and jasper at Bouse. Tony and I made a haul out there.

Just before Brenda, turn right on Ramsey mine rd. Keep to the right and in about 3-4 miles you will see the diggings for the chipboard rhyolite. I just cut some today and it is cool. Scott may be able to help you out going to this area.

Gee Dave, I've always wondered if there was anything out on that road, glad to know there is something. I may have to go out there some time. I don't know that area very well, aside from Brenda.
