My friend Ruth, to whom I am giving the copper and sterling septarian pendant, has finished stringing it. She used two copper cords, one black cord, and a strand with 5 different color beads, some iridescent. The bead strand also includes some larger copper-colored beads with holes that nod towards the holes in the piece. There is also a segment of copper chain that can be linked to achieve different lengths. I think it came out very well, and most important it is now a co-creation tailored to the new owner. Here are smartphone pics. (I will get some better pictures this evening.) The original thread on the piece itself is here: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=creationtime&action=display&thread=57423I will apply a light coat of neutral wax or lacquer to prevent any additional tarnish or change in the patina. I really like that this is going to be worn around my workplace. Ruth works in the same building same floor, just over in the east wing.

It looks so great on her and you two did a superb job on the piece. I like the multi-colored beads wound around, gives it dimension. Jo

An unconventional, but such a beautiful work of art. All the elements match to each other so well. I couldn't picture this pendant worn on such a normal outfit as the lady is wearing, but it fits very well this way.

phenomenal Daniel - really beautiful piece you should be very proud. I envy people who have the artistic talent to visualize something that doesn't exist and start creating it.

Ruth did a great job pulling everything together. It looks great on, too. That's really cool that you'll be able to see it being worn. It should be inspiring for you.
