Got this guy in a box of rocks an old rockhounder gave me...... Looks like there should be room to get a couple good slabs off of it..(It has a huge cavity inside!)

I would say agate on this...How big is it ..It has a real nice pattern in it....JOhn

aren't those terms synonomous? Or is it geodes are agates but not all agates are geodes?

A geode that completely fills in the center with crystals is a druzy agate.
