So if you can tumble cabs with a tumbler why am I grinding them with a $1000 worth of gear?

plenty of people do a rough grind on a 100 grit wheel and then tumble cabs and they do come out pretty darn nice. Any cabs I tumble are usually rejects or flawed cabs off my cabbing equipment. When I sell tumbled cabs at shows they are at a discounted price and I call them out as tumbled cabs since there was not much hand worked skill involved.

What's that third rock from the bottom? Is that something you found locally? It looks sort of like some of the rocks I find in Superior, but better.
The other one I think is really interesting is the one in the middle of the second picture. It looks sort of like ocean jasper with the red and white spots.

Rob - the one in the second photo is a poppy jasper. I am not sure about that other one but you are right it does look like a beach stone.

Really like the bahias and the preforms. That pice of snowflake where all the flakes are in a row is really cool. Nice batch.
