You are going to like this saw a lot! I have it's older brother a HP M3 12/14 and it is the fastest cutting saw I ever used. My poor 18" saw sit idle now.

the blade looks goon on 1st inspection. maybe 60% life left - not sure the original diamond height.
I am only a little nervous because the main drive belt looks brand new and I do not think it could have extended around a motor pulley unless the motor was flat up against the saw, and I see no evidence of a rear mount plate. It definitely would not reach a motor mounted under the saw.
The bearings seem smooth, but it is possible this was not tested, and the "runs good" was just a sales pitch. That don't mean it will not run good, but I hate when questions arise.

Mine is a table top model as well, the motor mounted in the back or on the bottom. I mounted mine on a cart and put the below it. There is not much to go wrong on the saw as long as the arbor bearings are tight. Since you are not in a hurry I would remove the cover over the arbor and grease the bearing, it has probably been 20 years since they seen fresh grease. I have rebuilt several HP saws from a complete tare down, everything is easily replaceable. Maybe one of these days I will get my on/off switch installed.

Well I bought it. The seller said no problem holding it until the weather is OK for me to drive up and get it one weekend. Might have to sell some things to make room. Maybe the vertical belt sander or even the C-40 band saw. Have to see. An 8 hour drive is worth it!!! Congrads on the buy...

Yes, I did judge it worth it. Bought it Feb. 2013 Got it May 2013, and I am not offering it for sale in June 2014 - because I have not done a thing with it, and really need the space back.
If you know anyone looking let them know about this saw. I might be going down to regional/national mineral society show in Tulsa on 11-Jul, so I could deliver it there. I have also heard from someone who might want it later in the Fall. Noting settled yet.
