holy crap thats got to be a record. I live near st louis and the eagles come here just north of st louis on the mississippi river at the chain of rocks, right near interstate 270 in illinois really close to the missouri border. I dont think there has ever been this many eagles ever in one picture around here. You usually only see at most up to 5 or so on the river at a time. Tonight it snowed liked crazy got about 6 inches in only a few hours. A friend of mine use to take photos in Alton, IL where there was a eagle nest. Alton is not to far north of st louis.

I live in Alton IL and during this time of year we get numerous eagles. Can't say I've seen a feeding frenzy like that though... usually they just sit in a tree all day . Michael
