In the past hour, I have found out that 2 important people have died.

One is my friend's mom who is in AZ, and the other one is one of our senior members.

From our club site:

It is with sadness that we share the news of a death of a member of the SCR&GC (aka Rock club). Betty Jean Swearingen (1928 - 2013), wife of Marlyn, (both are rock club members), passed away Friday morning, Feb 1. Visitation was Sunday at the Brick-Meger Funeral home. The funeral servicewas this morning at 11 am At Trinity Lutheran Church, Owatonna. Condiolences may be expressed at www.brick-megerfuneralhome.com.
