Betty Snyder passed away last Sunday.
Betty and her deceased husband John started the Snyder's Ranch Pow Wow many years ago. She had been ill for the last few months. A local rancher continued with the Pow Wow at an adjacent ranch for the last two years but it isn't as good as when it was run by the Snyders. It is now called the Valley Springs Pow Wow and it now is over the Labor Day weekend rather than in early May.
I have gone to the Pow Wow for the last 25+ years and it is my favorite place for getting great rough.
