Those are quite fancy. They're all different as are the colors. I can see why you like them.

Used to call similar to that bloodstone.It came with my first tumbler when i was a kid,Pat.It is probably the same rock.Hard and polishes real good.You could stare at the patterns for hours.I ordered more thru Lapidary Magazine.It was from India.That was over 40 years ago.I also ordered carnelian,i think it was Brazillian.They are still over at Dad's house where i grew up.Have tumbled on and off for years. That jasper has more yellow and red.It's nicer.The stuff i got was green w/red specs.Exactly like pis 5 and 6.Dark stuff is hard to photograph,but let me tell you,Snuffy has good taste.That stuff is awesome material and real fracture free.

The red and green are the same as the bloodstone I've seen. However, I've only seen bloodstone as a field of green with little specks of blood.

The name "bloodstone" conjures up pictures like the slabs on pic 6. Classic beauties.
