A big 5 lb load finally out, lots of clear and smoky quartz, some random jaspagates...a select few favorites from the run are in the photo up top. Two chevron amethysts -- a material I don't usually care for, but my parrot likes it, so I polished him up a couple of toys. Three slabettes that we shaped and drilled to make them easy for me to wear on a leather thong. A polished red moss agate. A couple of cabs -- a small one from a Snuffy slabette, a larger mustard colored one with drusy that I've had for over 20 years and FINALLY got shaped/polished. Whew. The heart-shaped slabette and I think all of the drilled stones are from Snuffy's slabettes. The Chevron amethyst is leftovers from some of that old estate material that I've been selling or trying to swap away for years. Sorry I can't load as many photos as some of you but whew! Photobucket hates me! Thanks to all who swapped/traded/offered suggestions & encouragement to help make this happen. Oh, so you don't think I'm an idiot...I had two tumblers, so that the quartz/smoky/amethyst did not have to run with the jaspagate. Just lucky timing that the polish finished in both barrels almost the same day...
