Okay, I may not have the description just right, but I have two rocks that I was told are Serpentine and the other is Serpentine in Actinolite. Both are green, the serpentine is mottled and the other dark green and hard. I would like to slab and cab them but am unsure of the safe handling of these materials. Any advice from the peeps in the know would be appreciated greatly. Wanting to make some pretty things, but not die in the process lol.

There is no need to be paranoid if you are not breathing in actual asbestos fibers, so unless it really looks like asbestos (and why would you try to polish that?), just wet saw or grind it wearing a face mask. Clean up after to be sure no splattered rock dust dries out and becomes airborne.
