This soil is the best. It was a old barn and then set for decades decomposing with tumble weeds on top. After we burned them off and cleaned it up. The soil is almost to productive. Gets hard to keep up with.. Attachments:

It's good n8.When will you put tomatoes out?Is NW Kansas in the corn belt?I like the wall.Looks like it was made by hand.

here it is from outside.. it was used during WW1 for raising donkeys for the war effort. I should put them out usually around may 20 or so but last year I got away with putting plants out in mid April. This year I have decided to cut back on tomatoes. I have a interesting mix of peach,pear,and large walmart cherry tomatoes that come back every year now. It was the large cherry ones that started this 4 years back.. Now various mixes of those come up and if I keep a eye on them they can grow as big as any starters. Most mixes are yellow with red blush and little bigger than norm cherry type. And yeah I'm pretty sure we are in the corn belt... Attachments:

I wish I could say this is our land but it's my dads friend who bought this.. It is very cool he lets me use the building. And lets us enjoy the farm there. He owns lots of land , this used to be his wife's grandparent's place. It was a wreck and he fixed the house like new..

And this might be the record holder for biggest black cottonwood in the state ..it's 14 foot around.

It's my little bit of green heaven. Where I can hang with my doggy ,play loud music and dance like a mad man when the mood hits. priceless..
