I have some of that stone and haven't worked it yet. Wasn't sure how the stone would shine up. I did do a preform of this earlier this week. Now I know what to expect. Those are real nice cabs!! That first one is a great shape and color

Great cabs! I've had a block of this for 40 years and I have always avoided working it because it is rather soft. Maybe I'll get around to doing one now that I have seen your work and how terrific it can be! Bob

These are cool!
I would imagine with those stripes/layers the look of the cab could be changed significantly depending on the direction you cut the rough.
