Enjoyed the vid you posted of them enjoying the biscuits you gave to them last week, bushman! Before you know it, they'll be serenading you with songs at your window.

Every morning now about 8ish they fly over wanting there handouts.(tempting but wrong place ;D) Today is oatmeal cookies. I've got them on my steps now grabbing food. Almost had the male eating out of my hand today. His beak was about 3 inches and then I must have blinked. Because he all of sudden jumped an flew. Kinda scary, their beaks are huge and look very sharp.
Their smart birds. I watched a pair tag team the camp dog out of his food just about everyday. One would distract the dog and the other would steal from his dish. And when the dog got wind of what was going on. He would chase the one at the dish and the other would go lode up. Funny as hell to watch.

They're pretty smart birds, too. Scientist were doing a study with the crows on face recognition. www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/a-murder-of-crows/full-episode/5977/

I could write a small book about pet crows we had when I was a kid. They made wonderful pets.My brother would climb up a tree and get the baby crows out of the nest.Just a couple highlights, back in the late fifties, one of my cousins came to visit, hairstyle piled about 2 feet on top of her head, and our crow attacking that pile! She still talks about that crow trying to scalp her. ;D Another we had took a liking to our neighbor, and would ride on his shoulder, till the crow stole a pack of cigarettes out of his front pocket and flew off with it! That wasnt enough to do him in,but they caught it hiding stuff in their cistern, which was their water supply. We clipped his wings so he couldnt fly anymore,he got mad at us and wouldnt even come to the house anymore. The last one we had.
