James, Yep, a lot of different types and those images on Google are only from about half the pits my buddy and I prospected around in. Deep manzanita and buckbrush covers most the old sites from the 60's and they cover quite an area. Each location seems to have a different type of poppies. Very cool area to explore but very rough country. Some of the area we actually explored on hands and knees crawling under the brush on game trails...Mel
