Awhile back a new member here was kind enough to offer to send us a box stuffed full of some local materials from around Arizona. I still need to work a bunch of it but I finally got a few slabs and cabs done. Even better he went through the time to label material and location of every specimen (thanks Wayne) Lizard stone (burro creek area) Rhyolite (searchlite nevada) My inexperience would have guessed pet wood on this one Quartz/Granite (bellhead city area) Thanks for looking Chuck

I really like how you presented this material with both the rough and cab!
Excellent photography for a neat set of cabochons.

Chuck, I must also comment ... Great cabs, and love the way you present them (clear, well-lit, in-focus photos of finished cabs on top of slabs) as well. Good job! Jean

That lizard stone is really cool, but I like them all. I love the pictures, too. I was planning to start doing something similar when the weather is better and I can get some more precabs done.
