Hey Roger, The dalmation stone is a bit softer and does best by itself but will probably be OK with the others, The tiger eye should be well rounded before being moved to stage two because, if left more angular, it often gets bruised up ( little micro dings that look frosty) on the sharper edges if you run it with stuff like the red jasper. The red jasper is probably the hardest and toughest of the lot. If the edges are well rounded this is usually not such a problem. Tiger eye comes in many qualities too and some forms can have loose fibers or softer areas which can make them more problematic......Mel
