Still remember when we made our Texas move it was a major rain year across Arizona, New Mexico, and West Texas. All my years of desert ratting I'd never seen it that good. We haven't been to the desert since Thanksgiving - not counting a week in Quartzsite in January. Maybe we can make a short trip on Easter weekend. Low wages and high gas prices (and high everything else!) have really put a crimp on our regular routines... Jean

By the time I get a chance to get out in the desert again the wildflowers will be crispy kindling. Best I could do was take a few pics in our front yard this evening

Curt, just drive South. I've never seen more beautiful flowers than Texas in the Spring. Anywhere from around Austin South to Corpus. When we did San Antonio show (March) we saw plenty and up through Abilene (April). The desert is amazing due to the flower frenzy in an otherwise mostly barren environment. The flowers have a very short window to make their appearance. We have nothing here yet. Maybe next month.

So I'm not a desert rat but did take some pictures of the desert flowers that are blooming right now.
These were near Superior, AZ
