I thought our countries had free speach and access? ? Just to mention; I haven't noticed any of the NRA types staying out of other threads; not trying to start a war here but you are acting like you want to start something when the thread title reads the way it does. Since when does free speach and thought only work one way? Your way. Lloyd IMHO

*L* I find non NRA types frequently lack any kind of sense of humor. Too cool! Love the included zombie literature! That is funny! How do you like your circuit judge rifle? I've seen them in a store and they look pretty cool but I was wondering how they do at the range. Think it would be pretty cool with a holographic sight mounted on that rail.....Mel

Ok, sorry, I find it the other way Mel; a little too quick on the draw when an innocent guy pedalling through on his bicycle is threatened to be shot if he doesn't keep moving; little did the guy doing the threatening know but he had a gun pointing at his belly the whole time. The "pacifist" moved on but the memory of the "texas welcome" stayed with him.

Uh Ok Bits, if you say so. *L* Innocent guy with a hidden pistola huh? Were you in possession of a Texas CCL and were you trespassing? Kid of curious as to why you were invited to keep moving as Texans are the friendliest folks I've even seen but are really serious about trespass. Guess you do have a sense of humor after all *L* with all the aggressive talk and yet the declaration of being a pacifist *L*.....Mel

Someone else sounds a lot more agressive than me. I think I recognize the same tone that was used on me and it comes from those that are used to telling others what to do as if they are born to it"LOL" The world is such a kind and gentle place isn't it? LOL

Oh Bits, engaging in a bit of transference aren't we. It was your implied threat that sounded aggressive to me *L*. There are two sides to every story. Texans in my experience, as I have said, are very nice folks unless their toes are being stepped on or their rights threatened.
Simple question. Was wondering what you were doing to provoke the gentleman's ire, that's all. You did not explain that side of the story. If you're a Canadian ( Canadians by the way, locked my pistols in a sealed bag when I passed through on my way to Alaska) what the heck were you doing breaking the law and packing in Texas, aside from being an admitted criminal if you did not have a Texas CCL, that is. Makes me wonder what other criminal behavior you were engaging in to piss the guy off, that's all *L*. You were the one doing the tough talk " had your Rosco pointed at his belly the whole time" so don't get your panties in a twist when asked for clarification of the event you describe. Makes "you" sound like a bit of a nut, Bit.....Mel

I like it. It shoots well, really dig the pistol grip stock. Decent accuracy with the 45 colt. Couldn't find much in the way of 410, so I put some bird shot through it with out the choke. Holy crap did it spread fast! Can't run a mixed load with the choke in. The real surprise was the Ranch Hand. Putting 357 magnum through a 12 inch barrel has an amazing effect on accuracy, not to mention velocity and energy. Even with the wonky grip required (adding a full stock requires a $200 tax stamp) I was getting 1 inch groupings at 50 yards. All in all, a couple of very nice, unique guns for $1005.

Geoff, great to hear your review. That Ranch Hand is sure one pretty little pistol that's for sure. Think Steve McQueen carried a similar piece in one of the early western series. Saw the actual gun at the Gene Autrey Western Museum I think. 357 should be pretty nice recoilwise in that pistol too. I know 44 mags in a light lever action rifle suck.
Noticed the Winchester PDX 410 loads in your showcase too. I use those in my Taurus Judge and I really like them.....Mel
